Bollywood Masala will offer popular Bollywood films of the past 30 years, featuring the stars Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Shahrukh Khan and Anil Kapoor. The series, hosted by The Big Bang Theory’s recurring guest star Aarti Mann, will include titles such as Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), about brothers who reunite as adults; Tezaab (1988) about a soldier turned criminal who falls in love; the comedy Dil (1990), about a man posing as the son of a business in order to marry a rich woman; Hum (1991), an action-drama about a ruthless gangster; and Beta (1992), about a woman who marries a rich widower for his wealth, among others.

"Bollywood is known for its epic stories, beautiful scenery and show stopping musical numbers," said Superna Kalle, the general manager of the Sony Movie Channel. "India also has the largest film industry in the world, and we’re proud to offer these Bollywood favorites to film lovers. Good cinema has universal appeal."
