Solid Confirms Sales for China’s Long March

ENCINO: Multiple sales have been closed by Solid Entertainment for The Great Escape: China’s Long March, which recounts Mao and his Red Army’s 370-day journey across China.

The doc was licensed to DR-TV of Denmark and ZDF of Germany, along with The History Channel in the U.K. and ABC Television of Australia. China’s Long March features 3D animation and was filmed on location throughout China. It was produced by Asian Union and Nine Times Entertainment, and tells the story of the epic military expedition that is known as a key moment in Chinese history.

Richard Propper, the head of Solid Entertainment, commented: “Great history programs today are a special blend of technical creativity and old-fashioned on-the-ground filmmaking. The Long March is a compelling film with great filmmaking techniques that really pay off for the viewer.”
