Skywriter & TELETOON to Produce Camp Lakebottom

TORONTO: Skywriter Media & Entertainment Group and TELETOON Canada are teaming up for the development of the new animated series Camp Lakebottom, targeted at kids 6 to 11.

The half-hour animated comedy follows the summer adventures of a group of campers and their creep show counselors. The show is being developed by Skywriter’s Meghan Davies and TELETOON’s Athena Georgaklis. Kevin Gillis (Atomic Betty, Jimmy Two Shoes) is executive producing.

“Camp Lakebottom is about as near to perfect fun that a kid could imagine. The kids run the camp, the counselors are zombies and monsters, and the parents have NO idea what’s really going on,” said Gillis. “We are happy to be working with TELETOON to make Camp Lakebottom every kid’s dream destination.”
