LONDON: Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment is teaming up with Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and show director Jamie King for a series that will chronicle the creation of a live show for Latin music and dance, with plans for a simultaneous broadcast in 21 markets across the Americas.

Q’Viva! The Chosen, sponsored by BlackBerry, will watch as Lopez and Antony travel to various regions of the Americas in search for performers to take part in a live celebration of Latin culture. The series will be filmed in three languages and broadcast simultaneously across 21 countries in North America, Central America and South America. Broadcast partners are yet to be announced.

"This is a show for the 21st century with an unprecedented global and local story," Lopez said. "The Latin culture is a tapestry that is rich in passion, tradition and artistry. We are going to places where all of this talent lives and wouldn’t have otherwise been discovered. This journey for me and Marc is going be exciting and groundbreaking."

Fuller added, "Latin music and dance is loved all over the world but there has never been a particular show or live experience that truly celebrates its beauty and splendor. Q’Viva! is that show."
