Shed Media Launches Factual Entertainment Division

LONDON: Watershed TV is a new division of the Shed Media Group that will focus on developing and making factual entertainment formats around social and current affairs issues.

The new division will be headed up by Ricochet’s current creative director, Mark Rubens. Watershed will be based in London, working out of the Shed Media office, and will recruit a new development team and one other senior executive. The company is being structured so that Rubens can be closer to the program-making process and initially put resources behind fewer shows to add more value.
