Shankly Highlights NATPE Slate

BEVERLY HILLS: Shankly International Distribution heads to NATPE with 2,000 hours in its catalogue, which includes, among others, the FOX syndicated series Animal Atlas and Safari Tracks

Other new product from Shankly includes the six-part docuseries First Ascent. A co-production with National Geographic International, First Ascent is available for the U.S. and select territories worldwide. “Shankly is unique in that our development and distribution teams work side by side, giving our TV properties the proper attention and best shelf life possible,” commented Matthew Mancinelli, the director of distribution for Shankly.

Shanky kicked off 2010 by signing a number of new deals, closing licensing agreements with Sweden’s TV4 for the fishing reality series The Catch, Intra Comm/Russia for the travel series World Class, Germany’s RTL and Japan’s NTV for the cooking series Primal Grill and Kuwait’s Pyramid Entertainment for the long-running home makeover series Hometime.
