Shaftesbury Adds to Cast of Good Dog for Season Two

TORONTO: For the second season of Good Dog, a series from Shaftesbury in association with The Movie Network and Movie Central, Ken Finkleman will be joined by new co-stars Samantha Bee and Lolita Davidovich, with production to begin next month for delivery on HBO Canada in 2012.

The half-hour comedy is created, written and directed by Finkleman (The Newsroom), who also stars. In the second ten-episode season, Finkleman is joined by Bee (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Bored to Death) and Davidovich (ZOS: Zone of Separation, The L Word). Production gets under way in Toronto in October.

Good Dog is produced by Shaftesbury in association with The Movie Network, Movie Central and the Canada Media Fund, with the participation of the Rogers Cable Network Fund, and with the assistance of the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and the Ontario Film and Television Tax Credit.
