SevenOne Showcasing Raft of New Programs

MUNICH, October 8: More
than 50 new programs across a variety of genres, from events and series to
movies and documentaries, will be on offer from SevenOne International at
MIPCOM.

In event offerings,
SevenOne is presenting The Sea Wolf,
a remake of Jack London’s bestseller of the same name. The Final Days is a two-part event about the last few months of
the German Democratic Republic. The anti-war film The Bridge is a modern remake of the German film based on the
autobiographical novel by Gregor Dorfmeister. The disaster film Gaping Abyss
uses computer animation to depict
as a city collapses into the Earth, while the action event film Killer Bees also makes use of computer animation.

SevenOne has a new
telenovela to offer as well, called Anna. The story revolves around a girl who must overcome her shyness in
order to make her dreams come true. The series Legally Dad, about a successful attorney who must care for his
young daughter, and Dr. Molly,
centered on a doctor with a difficult personality, are also on offer. Other
series in SevenOne’s catalogue are MPU: Missing Person Unit, about a special unit who searches for people who
have disappeared, and The Medical Intern, about a young doctor who is sorting out her personal and
professional life.

Movies on offer include Think
Slim!
, about a woman who is
hypnotized to see herself as thin in the mirror; Dream Hotels, the 12th installment in the franchise; and Gonger, which tells the tale of an ancient curse that
plagues a village.

The hit magazine series Galileo provides easy-to-understand explanations of
scientific phenomena, while How It Works
offers answers about the world of technology. Broad Peak: Icy Grave is a documentary that looks at a climber who died
8,000 meters up a mountain.

Format offerings include Culture
Shock: Norway
, Young Mothers, Stars in Danger: Car Ball Championship, Countess Wanted, The Sexometer, The Business Coach, Fata Morgana and High Tension, among others. Also on SevenOne’s slate are a
number of upcoming events, including Cloud Chasers, about young pilots who must face off against the
forces of natures; Crash Point: Berlin, which features a passenger jet that goes out of control; and Circle
of Blood
, an action thriller about
a man who wakes up in Norway with no idea of who he is or why he’s being
persecuted.
