Select Turner Networks to Premiere Star Wars Trailer

ATLANTA, May 8: The
world-premiere trailer for the upcoming CG-animated movie Star Wars: The
Clone Wars will debut today across
five Turner networks simultaneously.

At 7:58 p.m. in all U.S.
time zones, a two-minute preview of the new animated adventure from creator
George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation will air on Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, CNN
and Boomerang. Following its broadcast across the networks, the trailer will be
available exclusively on the official Star Wars website at starwars.com.

The trailer will debut in
theaters on May 9, along with the first poster for the movie, which opens
nationwide on August 15. Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The
theatrical release will lead into the launch of a weekly, animated TV series on
Cartoon Network, followed by airings on TNT, this fall.
