TORONTO: Fresh TV, in association with Family Channel, has started production on a second season of the comedy Really Me.

Sydney Imbeau (Marley & Me: The Puppy Years, Supernatural) returns as Maddy Cooper, who won the ultimate contest of starring in her own reality TV show. Kiana Madeira (Salem Falls, My Babysitter’s A Vampire, Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars) reprises her role as Julia, Maddy’s longtime best friend. Season two is expected to premiere on Family Channel in Spring 2012.

“We are really excited to continue working with such a stellar cast of young stars and industry veterans for season two of Really Me,” said Tom McGillis, the president of Fresh TV. “Viewers can expect to see Maddy and Julia encounter more drama than ever as they continue to negotiate the benefits and pitfalls of being reality TV stars.”

Really Me was developed and produced by Fresh TV, in association with Family Channel and is distributed by FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME).
