Scorpion TV Takes Fahrenheit 2010

LONDON: Scorpion TV has acquired the rights to the documentary Fahrenheit 2010, which looks at how South Africans really feel about the upcoming World Cup.

Fahrenheit 2010, directed by Craig Tanner of Levitation Films, asks the question of who stands to benefit from the diversion of millions of dollars to build 21st-century sports stadia in a country where people still live in shacks, have no access to water and where life expectancy is below that of Ethiopia. David Cornwall, the sales director of Scorpion TV, said, “Fahrenheit 2010 is the only documentary to cut through the hype and let us know what real South Africans think about the World Cup. It incorporates a great range of voices to take the temperature of the Rainbow Nation as it prepares to roll out the greatest show on earth.”
