SCI FI Gets New VP of Alternative Programming

NEW YORK, June 27: SCI FI
Channel has named Tim Krubsack as its VP of alternative programming, with
oversight of the network’s unscripted, reality lineup.

Krubsack handles all
aspects of alternative television development, production and business
management. Most recently, he served as the executive producer for Bullet
Valley, where he created and developed several reality shows for TBS, TruTV and
TLC. Prior to this, Krubsack was the president and founder of iO Film, a digital
intermediate outfit. He has also served as the VP of alternative programming at
USA Networks.

"As SCI FI ramps up
our commitment to unscripted programming, Tim's experience and excellent taste
in this arena makes him the ideal choice to head up our reality team,"
said Mark Stern, the executive VP of original programming at SCI FI, to whom
Krubsack will report.
