ScandiTV to Launch in U.S., Canada

LOS ANGELES: ScandiTV, which offers news, movies and kids’ programming from across Scandinavia, is launching in the U.S. on August 1.

ScandiTV will provide in-language programming to the Scandinavia communities in the U.S. and Canada. The service will be expanded to Latin America in the future. ScandiTV will be available via IPTV.

A range of new releases and classic movies from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden will be available to customers. Most movies are subtitled in English and many have never been seen before in North America. The service’s Nordic Package comes with four free movies per month. There is also an array of programming for kids as well.
