What are some of your top properties for MIPTV?
Ghosthunting with …, Miss Lingerie Model, Camping with the In-laws, Catch Me, Smile.TV

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?
Ghosthunting with … appeals because it hits the celebrity reality genre where it hurts: fear, bloodcurling screams, ghosts, things that go bump in the night. Putting celebrities in touch with spirits from the other side is extremely entertaining and unpredictable, and who doesn’t love seeing their favourite stars in compromising positions?
Miss Lingerie Model because it takes the best elements of Next Top Model and Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and melds them together, creating an exciting, fashion-driven competition with beautiful women modelling the most gorgeous lingerie. Female audiences will appreciate the strong and confident women and the new styles on display, while men watch for obvious reasons!
Camping with the In-Laws appeals because it takes the universal theme of family – couples engaged to be married and their parents – and then puts them in a fish out of water camping situation. The built-in drama, conflict, tears and laughter are sure to keep audiences entertained.
Catch Me If You Can! because it is so much more than a dating show. It is a reality show that goes deep into the lives of the girls looking for love, finds out where they live, how they feel about life, and then follows them dating from ‘web to drink’ with the show’s signature interactive component, and once the girl has found love, we replace her with another girl, keeping the show in-depth and always fresh.
Smile TV appeals because it is a plot-thick, dialogue-free sketch comedy show that features universal humor themes in a fresh, HD format. It’s high quality production values matched with hilarious scripts create the perfect solution to a comedy slot request. Be prepared to laugh out loud.

What are your goals and expectations for MIPTV?
As we’ve been hard at work since November creating MEG’s first format catalogue, our goal for MIPTV is to introduce this catalogue to the international marketplace to established format contacts, as Peter Green, CEO of MEG, was formerly a format producer and founder of MTV International, now Zodiak Entertainment, and Sarah Coursey, VP Formats, was formerly Head of Formats at Zodiak, and their collective histories in the format business provide a lift-off for this new division of MEG. Of course, MEG has a catalogue of finished programs in the comedy genre and continues to be the world’s leading funny short clip supplier, and will be in ongoing conversations with buyers that come back year-in, year-out. We’re ready for a very successful MipTV overall!
