RTL, Telepool Re-Up Distribution Partnership

MUNICH: RTL Television and Telepool have signed a new long-term contract, three years after their first cooperation, which includes the international rights to a range of existing and future RTL programs.

 
Included in the deal are shows such as Alarm for Cobra 11 and new highlights such as Doctor’s Diary and Lasko.
 
“The RTL productions have proven to be an important asset to our existing programme catalogue," said Dr. Thomas Weymar, the CEO of Telepool. “We are excited to extend our successful partnership with RTL.”
 
Dr. Dirk Schweitzer, the executive VP of program acquisitions and sales at RTL, added: “Telepool has been an excellent partner in the last years. Therefore, it was an obvious choice to let Telepool’s sales team continue to bring our programs to the international audience.”
