Resonant in Youth Telenovela Deal

CANNES: Resonant is teaming with a Spanish company to co-produce the youth telenovela La Muse (The Muse).

Originated by Resonant, the show will be shot in Buenos Aires, where Resonant will oversee the creative aspects. Spain’s Elastic Rights will be responsible for the financing and international commercial management.

“We are sure that La Musa will be a very innovative program within the genre of youth novelas," said Gonzalo Cilley, the president of Resonant TV. "Muses are magical characters that in this case will have a specific mission: our main character will be sent to Earth to inspire a pop singer who lost his ability to create songs. We developed the content taking into account the necessities of the audience of children’s channels, as well as the market research that we carried out in Latin America and Europe."
