According to a new report, the Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) market worldwide is projected to grow by $69.3 billion, led by gains in the U.S.
Subscription-based IPTV is poised to grow at over 15.6 percent. This segment is set to reach more than $73 billion by 2025.
The U.S. will maintain a 15.1-percent growth momentum. Within Europe, Germany will add over $2.7 billion to the region’s size and clout in the next five to six years. Over $3.3 billion worth of projected demand in the region will come from the rest of European markets.
In Japan, subscription-based IPTV will reach a market size of $5.4 billion by the close of the analysis period. China is showing the potential to grow at 13.7 percent over the next couple of years and to add approximately $12.1 billion.
