SYNOPSIS: The RED CAPS are a crew of elves,
Santa’s dynamic helpers, dedicated to protecting children all over the world.
They stand up for children’s rights and care about the environment.

With lots of
adventure and action, this animated comedy series tells the story of the squad
and their mission to help children all over the world to solve their problems
and help them to grow up and take responsibility for our planet. The squad
members have magic stars that give them very special powers, but mainly they
overcome threats and dangers through courage, imagination, agility and their
special sense of humor. Their motto is “Make it snappy!” Every RED CAPS mission
succeeds when the child hero of each episode discovers his or her hidden
talents.

Intertwined
with global children’s rights issues, there is the squad’s on-going struggle
with Santa’s wicked twin brother, Basil. When the Magic Crystal that helps
Santa deliver presents is broken into 26 fragments and scattered around the
world, it is up to the RED CAPS to get them all back. With his army of Robotiks
and dim-witted assistant named Grouch, Basil is driven by greed and a thirst
for power and money to try and retrieve the fragments of the Magic Crystal
before the RED CAPS can.

scheduling the series in the run up to Christmas 2008,” but adds that “most TV
channels will aim at autumn 2009.”
