Red Arrow U.K. Names Comedy, Drama Chief

MUNICH: Simon Maxwell is joining Red Arrow Entertainment Group’s U.K. production arm as head of drama and comedy from Greenroom Entertainment.

At Greenroom, Maxwell created and produced the company’s two BBC comedy series, Fresh and Off the Hook, and executive-produced the Paramount feature film Killing Bono, which he also co-wrote.

"We’re delighted to have Simon joining us at Red Arrow," said James Baker, a joint managing director (together with Joel Denton) of the U.K. production arm, Red Arrow Entertainment. "He is one of the most talented of a new generation of U.K. creative executives and has built a broad range of exceptional relationships with the very best writers, producers and directors in the industry."
