Henrik Pabst, the president of Red Arrow Studios International, talks to World Screen‘s Anna Carugati about some of the latest series from the company’s catalog that are drumming up interest in the global market.
It’s a welcome development for distributors like Red Arrow Studios International that non-English-language dramas are no longer facing the same barriers they used to. The company has its first LatAm scripted show in the catalog with Falco, based on The Last Cop. The Spanish-language crime procedural, from production powerhouse Dynamo (Narcos) and Spiral International, has been garnering solid interest internationally, according Pabst.
Comedy, too, has been crossing borders, he says, with highlights such as Lice Mother. Pabst also shares what’s new in boundary-pushing formats like Code to Love and high-quality factual like Man’s First Friend.
