Ray Romano Cast in HBO Max’s Made for Love

Ray Romano is set to star alongside Cristin Milioti (How I Met Your Mother) in Made for Love, a ten-episode series for WarnerMedia’s HBO Max.

Based on Alissa Nutting’s novel of the same name, the series follows thirtysomething Hazel Green (Milioti), who is on the run after ten years in a suffocating marriage to a tech billionaire. Complicating matters is the discovery that her husband had implanted a monitoring device—the Made for Love—in her brain, enabling him to track her, watch her and know her thoughts and feelings. Hazel’s fight to stay alive lands her on the doorstep of her estranged father Herbert, who is living out his retirement on a ranch with his synthetic partner/sex doll Diane.

Set to launch in spring of 2020, Made for Love will be adapted for the small screen by showrunner Patrick Somerville (Maniac, The Leftovers). S.J. Clarkson is attached to direct and executive produce. The series will be produced by Paramount Television.
