Rainbow Unveils Winx Club 3-D Feature

LORETO/CANNES: Rainbow is launching Winx Club 3D Magical Adventure, its latest feature film in the hit Winx Club franchise, in Cannes this week.

In the new 3-D film, Bloom is living happily with her parents in Domino as Princess of the Realm and gearing up to marry her boyfriend, Sky. But when his father forbids the union, a dark secret is revealed and Bloom, together with the Specialists, must rescue the Magic Kingdom.

Rainbow’s first Winx feature was The Secret of the Lost Kingdom, which grossed $8 million in Italy and rolled out to all the major European markets. Winx Club 3D Magical Adventure is the first film produced in Italy using 3-D stereoscopic technology. The film will be launched in Italy for back to school 2010 followed by staggered releases throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
