ProSiebenSat.1 Welt Gets Revamped On-Air Design

MUNICH: The pay-TV channel ProSiebenSat.1 Welt, a German-language offering from the ProSiebenSat.1 Group in North America, is showcasing a new on-air design today, and has bulked up its lifestyle programming.

The channel’s new logo ties in its affiliation with the biggest commercial TV group in Germany and its free-TV stations: Sat.1, ProSieben, kabel eins and N24. The network’s website at prosiebensat1welt.com also presents a revamped look, with structured features and fresh design highlighting the programming and subscription options. ProSiebenSat.1 Welt has added an exclusive lifestyle afternoon offering with a wide range of additional programs like SAM, Lebe Deinen Traum, We are family!, Boris Becker Meets and Abenteuer Auto.

In the U.S., the pay-TV station launched in February 2005 and has been on the air in Canada since June 2006. ProSiebenSat.1 Welt offers international viewers a broad selection of German-language programming and features programming from the Group’s four networks. Highlights include series such as Der Bulle von Tölz, Edel & Starck and TV Total, alongside a host of TV movies. As an exclusive service, ProSiebenSat.1 Welt features first-league Bundesliga soccer live, as well.
