Promax/BDA Announces Early Speaker Lineup

LOS ANGELES, April 4:
Promax/BDA has unveiled a diverse lineup of speakers, including James Lipton,
the creator, writer, executive producer and host of Bravo’s Inside the
Actors Studio
, for its 53rd annual
North American Promax/BDA Conference, slated to take place from June 17-19 at
the Hilton New York Hotel.

Lipton will conduct
intimate and in-depth interviews with accomplished branding and design artists
in an effort to reveal their inspiration, as well as their deepest thoughts
about their craft.

Additional speakers already
confirmed for the conference include Reverend Jesse Jackson, who will
participate in a live interview session hosted by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, during
which he’ll discuss his views on issues such as race, gender and leadership, as
well as the blurring line between news and entertainment, and the impact that
this has on global culture. Meanwhile, Michael Klein, the president of Hustler
TV, will join a panel discussion called: Q&A on T&A: Insights into
Marketing Adult Entertainment.

This session, featuring adult content marketers, will reveal the ins and outs
of marketing an industry generating more than $1 billion in subscription and
on-demand revenue. Finally, Nicholas Negroponte, the author behind the
non-profit organization One Child One Laptop, will present a keynote address on
how digitalization affects every industry in every part of the world, and how
his $100 laptop will revolutionize computing and transform education and
culture worldwide.
