Actor, comedian and producer Jamie Foxx and his Foxxhole Productions have entered into a multiyear first-look agreement with FOX Entertainment Studios (FES).

The partnership will see Foxx serve as executive producer and content originator for scripted television programming across comedy, drama and animation genres, for which FES will have a first look. The agreement also gives FES exclusive rights to Foxx’s projects and producing services in the unscripted arena.

Foxx and his team will begin developing projects immediately.

The expansive deal builds on Foxx’s long-standing relationship with FOX, including the interactive music game show Beat Shazam, which he co-hosts with his daughter Corinne Foxx, and the police procedural Alert: Missing Persons Unit, which he executive produces.

Foxx’s relationship with the FOX network dates back to his role on the sketch comedy series In Living Color, which he starred in from 1991 to 1994.
