Production Begins on Second Season of The Listener

TORONTO: Shaftesbury Films has kicked off production in Toronto on season two of The Listener for CTV, SPACE and Fox International Channels.

In addition to returning cast members Craig Olejnik, Ennis Esmer and Mylène Dinh-Robic, the new season will feature Lauren Lee Smith and Tara Spencer Nairn. Production on 13 one-hour episodes runs until February 2011.

In season two, Toby Logan (Olejnik) further embraces his telepathic powers while working alongside his partner “Oz” (Esmer). The series is executive produced by Christina Jennings and Scott Garvie for Shaftesbury Films, and Sam Egan.

International distribution outside of the Fox International Channels window is handled by Shine International.
