Production Begins on New CBC Series

TORONTO: Production has commenced on the new CBC Television series Redemption Inc. to premiere in winter 2012.

The 8×1-hour series is produced by Proper Television and is hosted by Kevin O’Leary, the Canadian multimillionaire businessman and star of the reality series Dragons’ Den.

O’Leary will guide ex-convicts in setting up their own businesses with his own personal investment of $100,000. The series is based on the original paper format from Wide Eyed Entertainment in the U.K.

“With Kevin’s wealth of knowledge, practical business advice and brutally honest style, Redemption Inc. is sure to challenge perceptions and excite debate across the country,” said Guy O’Sullivan, the president of Proper Television.
