AOL, VH1 to Broadcast Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony Live

NEW YORK, March 6: For the first time, this year’s Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be broadcast live on VH1 Classic and
MTV Networks’ HD music channel MHD, and will also be streamed live without
commercial interruption on AOL.

Broadcast live from the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York on
March 12, the induction can be viewed on AOL at spinner.aol.com/rockhall. AOL
will feature the induction on demand starting from March 13. The full ceremony
will air again on VH1 Classic and MHD on March 16. An edited version will air
in rotation on VH1, VH1 Classic and MHD beginning on March 17.

This year, the five new acts and artists set to be inducted
into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five,
R.E.M., The Ronettes, Patti Smith and Van Halen.
