BlueHighways TV to Launch as a 24/7 Network

HENDERSONVILLE, March 6: Tennessee-based BlueHighways TV, a
network that explores the people, stories, traditions and music of America,
will launch its 24/7 linear channel on March 11 with Bresnan Communications,
after previously being available solely on the platform’s on-demand service.

Bresnan Communications is a broadband telecommunications
company that serves more than 300,000 customers throughout Colorado, Montana,
Wyoming and Utah.

The original programming scheduled to premiere on the linear
channel includes Due West, which
explores the mystique of the American West; American Journeys, a documentary series that goes behind-the-scenes at
art festivals, working farms and ranches in the heartland; the 30-minute show Reno’s
Old Time Music Festival,
a tribute to
bluegrass; the hour-long music and interview program Woodsongs; and Old Country Church, which features performances of traditional gospel
music.

"We are thrilled to begin offering BlueHighways TV as a
linear channel, as well as via VOD and online," said Stan Hitchcock, the
chairman and CEO of BlueHighways TV. "In the years we have built this
network, we’ve discovered that many people across the country have increasingly
been looking for our distinctive blend of roots music and Americana
programming. Bresnan was the first MSO to offer BlueHighways TV via VOD and
it’s wonderful to have them as our first linear affiliate, and to know that
their customers will now have access to our full roster of offerings the whole
household can enjoy all day, every day."
