Power Rangers Samurai Lands New Broadcasters Across Latin America

LOS ANGELES: MarVista Entertainment has secured a range of additional broadcasters across Latin America for Saban Brands’ new Power Rangers Samurai series.

MarVista Entertainment is the exclusive international television distributor of the new Power Rangers Samurai, as well as the classic series. Power Rangers Samurai will be broadcast across Latin America on Peru’s America TV, Ecuador’s TCTV, Panama’s Corp Medcom Panama, Paraguay’s Telefuturo, Bolivia’s Unitel, Nicaragua’s Intrasas TV and Uruguay’s Monte Carlo TV. The series currently airs on Nickelodeon in the region and will debut later this year on Mexico’s Grupo Televisa and Brazil’s Bandeirantes.

The kids’ phenomenon, which originally debuted in 1993, is produced by Saban Brands and Power Rangers Productions. Haim Saban created and produced the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series. Power Rangers Samurai is also executive produced by Jonathan Tzachor from the original series. Power Rangers licensed products and promotions have generated more than $5 billion in retail sales worldwide.
