Portfolio Sells Kids’ Series into Thailand

TORONTO: Portfolio International has landed deals for the kids’ series Heads Up! and Spellz with Thailand’s True Visions.

Heads Up!, aimed at tweens, is a 26×30-minute series that explores the universe beyond the mean and presents it to viewers in practical context. The show is hosted by Bob McDonals, who also previously hosted the children’s science series Wonderstruck.

The live-action series Spellz, 52×15 minutes, lets kids see the secrets behind magic tricks. It is hosted by Jay Sankey, a renowned magician.

“We are delighted these well-loved series are now part of True Visions’ programming,” said Joy Rosen, co-president of Portfolio Entertainment.
