Portfolio Entertainment Receives TELETOON Renewal

TORONTO, June 21: Portfolio Entertainment has received a
commission from TELETOON in Canada for a fourth season of 13 episodes of the
animated tween comedy Carl2 (Carl
Squared).

Carl2
currently airs on TELETOON in Canada, Nickelodeon in Germany, Jetix in the Netherlands,
ABC in Australia, ABC2 in Australia, VRT in Belgium, Canal + Cyfrowy in Poland
and Noga in Israel.

Produced and distributed by Portfolio Entertainment, the
65×30-minute Carl2 is about a
slacker teen named Carl Crashman who accidentally generates his own clone after
venting about his life in his online journal. The new season will include
another set of interactive episodes similar to the popular and successful Teen
Super Star competition from season three. The Teen Super Star interactive episodes
allowed the viewing audience to vote for Carl, Skye or Jamie as their favorite
Teen Super Star. Once the online and SMS votes were tallied, TELETOON aired the
episode with the winning candidate voted on by the audience.
