PorchLight to Launch New Faith-Based Label

LOS ANGELES, April 23:
PorchLight Home Entertainment will launch a new label under the banner
PorchLight INSPIRE, which will feature family and children’s entertainment with
faith-based messages.

The first title set to be
released under the new label is Adventures From the Book of Virtues:
Adventures in Faith, which
illustrates its central theme through classic international heroes and stories.
The original animated series, which aired on PBS, was produced by PorchLight
Entertainment. In the first quarter of 2009, PorchLight INSPIRE will launch the
Christian version of Jay Jay the Jet Plane on DVD. The series was also produced by PorchLight
Entertainment.

Gary Jones, the president
of PorchLight Home Entertainment, said, “Since our launch last summer,
PorchLight Home Entertainment has already established a reputation for
releasing the best in children’s and family programming on DVD. The PorchLight
INSPIRE label will highlight programming that is inspirational, faith based and
family friendly, with a prominent spiritual message.”

Added Bruce Johnson, the CEO and co-president of PorchLight
Entertainment, “PorchLight INSPIRE reflects our ongoing commitment to
making and distributing high-quality, faith-based programs. We could not be more
excited than to be launching this new label.”
