PorchLight Entertainment Adds FARMkids to MIPTV Lineup

LOS ANGELES, April 6: PorchLight Entertainment heads to
MIPTV this month with its new 26×12-minute 3-D animated children’s series FARMkids,
created by children’s educational expert
Scott Strachan.

PorchLight holds the exclusive worldwide distribution rights
for the series, excluding Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Targeted at 6-11-year-olds,
the series features a quirky collection of pampered, petting-zoo animals who
don’t have a clue about how survive in the country when they are unexpectedly
relocated to Dude Ranch. The series also contains positive themes and messages
for children.

FARMkids is a
privately funded, independent animation and creative studio based in Brisbane,
Australia. With its first season of the FARMkids television show nearing completion, the FARMkids
team is now working on the second season of the series and the FARMkids movie special, for release in 2009.

William Baumann, PorchLight’s COO, commented: “It’s a
fabulously funny kids’ series with wonderful characters, clever story lines and
state-of-the-art CGI animation. This series will definitely connect with kids.”
