PorchLight Acquires DVD Rights to Little Leaders Series

LOS ANGELES, July 22:
PorchLight Home Entertainment (PHE) has acquired the U.S. DVD distribution
rights to the four 30-minute programs in the Little Leaders series for its new faith-based INSPIRE label.

The programs from The
Little Leaders Company for ages 2 to 4, including Little Moses, Little Noah, Little Ruth and Little
Joseph, will be released on
PorchLight INSPIRE, which highlights programming that is inspirational, faith
based and family friendly.

The Little Leaders series is based on popular Bible characters and
teaches the stories in an entertaining format with multi-lingual options. The
Little Leaders Company also focused on motor-skill development by creating
interactive learning tracks in American Sign Language, which are themed for each
story. Basic learning subjects are inserted into each Bible story using a
combination of live action, CGI animation, animal puppet tour guides and music.

Preorders for the series
can be placed starting October 1, with sales beginning November 4.

Brenda Bisner, the VP of
acquisitions and children’s programming at PHE, said: “This is the type of
quality, faith-based programming that PorchLight Home Entertainment is
aggressively acquiring for its newly launched PorchLight INSPIRE label. The
response to this line has been tremendous and we are looking to assemble a
preeminent library of inspirational programming.”
