PopPixie Finds Nickelodeon Home Across Europe

LORETO: Nickelodeon has inked a deal with Rainbow, securing the international broadcast rights to PopPixie for a number of territories across the world.

As part of the deal, the 52×13-minute animated comedy will air on Nickelodeon in the U.K., Germany, Scandinavia, the Benelux, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Eastern Europe, CIS and Africa later this year and throughout 2012. PopPixie, which is targeted at 4- to 10-year-olds, features the Pixies, characters who were first introduced in Winx Club season two in 2007.

In addition, PopPixie has also been picked up by RAI in Italy, France 3, Clan TVE in Spain, Canal Panda in Portugal, Junior and MTV3 in Finland, CTC in Russia, M-Net in Africa, Kanal D in Turkey, MBC in the Middle East and North Africa, and Noga in Israel.
