The third edition of World Screen’s virtual FAST Festival takes place next week with headline speakers that include Pluto TV’s Olivier Jollet, Rakuten TV’s Marcos Milanez, Lightning International’s James Ross, pocket.watch’s Albie Hecht and more. Our returning virtual summit will explore the FAST segment from a range of different angles.

Returning to the FAST Festival, Jollet, executive VP and international general manager at Pluto TV, will discuss how the world’s leading AVOD platform is scaling its presence globally, weigh in on the platform’s unique approach to partnerships and discuss what’s driving its content needs.

Milanez, chief content officer at Rakuten TV, is also back at the festival to discuss the programming strategy at the popular European service across TVOD, AVOD and FAST.

We’ll hear from several IP owners and channel curators, including sessions with Lightning International’s Ross to discuss growth opportunities in Europe and AsiaPac; and Gary Woolf and Amanda Stevens at All3Media International on what’s driving that company’s FAST gains.

We’ll also take a deep dive into niche fandoms, including enlisting the expertise of Brian Volk-Weiss, CEO and founder of The Nacelle Company, about the booming interest in comedy on FAST as the company continues to scale its Comedy Dynamics channel.
