Playboy TV Celebrates 25th Anniversary

LOS ANGELES, April 10:
Playboy TV will commemorate 25 years of broadcasting by hosting a series of
parties throughout the year across the U.S.

The celebration kicked off
with an event at the Playboy Mansion, and will continue on to ten cities across
the U.S. through the summer. The premium channel launched in 1982, and is now
available in more than 63 million homes domestically and 70-plus countries
throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia.

“At its launch, Playboy TV
provided the viewer with a unique and provocative format,” said Bob Meyers, the
president of media for Playboy Enterprises. “It has been at the forefront of TV
programming trends, which includes producing one of the first reality series,
and the channel continues to evolve in response to cultural trends as evidenced
by our Playboy Prime short-format block.”
