LONDON, November 30: Pilot
Productions has wrapped up new international sales for a range of its travel
programming, including several for its Globe Trekker franchise.

Pilot has pre-sold Metropolis, a 6×30-minute travel-based architectural show, to
ATV Hong Kong and Viajar in Spain. ATV Hong Kong has also picked up the
thirteenth season of Globe Trekker
and the 13×26-minute series World Café Asia. Meanwhile, IBA in Israel has licensed seasons 9
through 12 of Globe Trekker.

In Greece, ERT has
acquired the rights to Treks in a Wild World, Pilot Globe Guides, Globe Trekker Specials and Bazaar. Elsewhere, Poland’s Telewizja Puls has secured both seasons 11 and
12 of Globe Trekker. Globe
Trekker
is also due to air in
Korea.

Eileen Pesah, the head of

world, the continuous popularity and cult following of our series makes this
niche genre the envy of a number of broadcasters.”
