Personnel Changes at Classic Media’s Consumer Products Division

LONDON: Andrew Kerr is exiting as the executive VP of international marketing and consumer products at Classic Media at the end of June, with his responsibilities to be assumed by Nicole Blake.

London-based Kerr will continue in his role to the end of June and then carry on providing non-exclusive consultancy for Classic Media through his own venture. His responsibilities will now be taken over by Nicole Blake as executive VP of global marketing and consumer products.

“It’s been a tremendously rewarding 2-plus years at Classic Media," Kerr said. "The company’s portfolio is poised for real success in the months and years to come, with Postman Pat, Guess with Jess and Tinga Tinga Tales enjoying a terrific reception in the marketplace and some of the best licensing partners in the business. While I’ll miss working day-to-day with the great people at Classic, I am excited to move forward with my own venture.”

In related news, Claire Shaw expanded role as VP of consumer products and retail will see her drive all licensing, retail development and promotional activity for the company’s brands in the UK. And Mat Way adds international consumer products to his current remit as VP of consumer products and live entertainment, international. Both will continue to be based in the company’s London office and report to Blake.
