TORONTO: Peacock Alley’s recently launched distribution division is heading to MIPCOM for the first time, presenting such titles as the new lifestyle show Money Moron.

In the 24×30-minute Money Moron, real couples suffering from financial problems face up to their money mistakes. The show is produced by Peacock Alley for Canada’s Slice.

Peacock Alley also has in its distribution catalogue the docu-soap Brave New Girls, about a transgender beauty queen. Peacock Alley produced the series for E! in Canada.

Produced by Shark Teeth Films for Discovery Canada, High Tech Rednecks is a doc series following a merry band of redneck mechanics who construct and modify vehicles.

“We’re excited to be heading to our first major market with a strong slate of premium lifestyle and docu-reality programming, which will have a broad appeal to a global audience,” said Craig McGillivray, the company’s VP of distribution.
