PBS Names Interactive SVP

ARLINGTON, January 2: Jason Seiken has been appointed as
PBS' senior VP of interactive, reporting to chief content officer John Boland
and based at the PBS headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.

Seiken will oversee PBS's new
media content and services, including pbs.org, pbskids.org, pbskidsgo.org,
pbsparents.org, as well as emerging broadband and mobile delivery platforms.

Seiken was the founding
executive editor of washingtonpost.com. Later, he moved to AOL, where he was
most recently based in London serving as VP of content and programming for AOL
Europe.
