PBS KIDS, PBS KIDS GO! Unveil New Programming

ARLINGTON,
November 26: In time for the Thanksgiving holiday, a range of new episodes from
hit programs are set to air on PBS KIDS, including the one-hour Sesame Workshop
special Abby in Wonderland, while PBS
KIDS GO! will feature new WordGirl
installments.

WordGirl's
"Return of the Reprise of Lady Redundant Woman"
follows as Lady
Redundant Woman has escaped from jail and has her eyes set on being crowned the
belle of the Triple Dip ball. WordGirl must find a way to stop her and her
copies before they steal all of the elegant dresses, fancy necklaces and
stylish shoes in the city. In "A
Simple Plan," Dr. Two-Brains decides to quit his complicated robbery
attempts, but when the mayor decides to host The Most Amazing Cheese Stunt In
History, he can't resist and WordGirl is hot on his trail.

For
the preschool set, Sesame Street's
Abby Cadabby is featured in the new Abby
in Wonderland
. The one-hour special follows Abby and Elmo as they crawl
down a rabbit hole into an enchanted re-imagining of Alice's adventures in the
classic Alice in Wonderland.

Curious George's "The Man with
the Monkey Hands" tells the story of George helping the Man with the Yellow
Hat deal with having bandages on his hands from touching poison ivy. "Whistlepig Wednesday" features Mr. Glass's
unique version of Groundhog Day, an annual city tradition of predicting when
winter will start. Other new Curious
George
episodes slated to air are "George
Digs Worms," about a worm-racing championship, and "Everything Old is New
Again," where George learns about recycling.

In
Super Why!'s "The Three
Feathers" episode, Pig and his brothers are building a train set but Pig's
negative attitude is getting in the way. The Super Readers encounter a young
prince who has the same negative feelings about a race to find a magic carpet.
"Super Why and The Little Mermaid" centers on Pig's sad feelings
about being different from his friends. The Super Readers then dive into the
story of The Little Mermaid to teach
a lesson about why being different can be special.

PBS
KIDS will also feature a special two-part episode of Martha Speaks. In part one of "Martha Runs the Store,"
Skits and Martha get trapped in the bathroom of a store that is about to close.
In part two, they play in the darkened department store, but must try to get
out in time for a birthday party.
