Pauline Bohm Promoted at NBC Universal

UNIVERSAL CITY, February
29: Pauline Bohm has been elevated to senior VP of marketing for NBC Universal
International Television Distribution.

Bohm is based in Los
Angeles and reports to Belinda Menendez, the president of NBC Universal
International Television Distribution. In her new position, Bohm will continue
to develop and implement marketing strategies for NBC Universal International
Television Distribution and its television and feature-film product portfolio.
She is also responsible for the division’s international brand strategy and
presence at all international sales markets and events, and is charged with
identifying new and innovative marketing practices and methods of client
support. Bohm manages dedicated
teams based in Los Angeles and London and has worked on international marketing
campaigns for titles including Heroes, House, the Law
& Order
brand, Monk and Battlestar Galactica, among others. “Pauline has done an outstanding
job in taking our marketing efforts well beyond expectations and plays an
instrumental role in our overall business,” Menendez said. “She has impeccable
taste and is a master at staying ahead of the trend, providing our clients with
a world-class level of support.”

Bohm was most recently VP
of marketing, a position she has held since joining NBC Universal in 2004.
Previously, she was the senior VP of international marketing for Pearson
Television International. Before Pearson, Bohm was the executive director of
NBC advertising and promotion from 1985 to 1996. She began her career as an
account executive for the advertising agency Clemenger Australia.

In related news, Rachel
Mansson has been promoted to VP of marketing, based in London and reporting to
Bohm. She will continue to develop and implement all marketing efforts for NBC
Universal International Television Distribution’s international new-media unit. She is also responsible for the overall
brand management of PictureBox, NBC Universal’s SVOD service available in the
U.K., Poland and Singapore. “Rachel has proven time and again her strategic
sensibilities and the ability to effectively build brand recognition,” said
Bohm. “She is an expert in the international new-media space and this is a
richly deserved promotion.”
