Passion Distribution Unveils MIPCOM Lineup

LONDON: Passion Distribution is to offer a range of factual and factual-entertainment programs at MIPCOM, including Disco Diva Mums and Pamper Parlour Mums.

Passion will be offering the one-hour special Disco Diva Mums from Landmark Films. It follows a group of mothers as they prepare their daughters to compete in a beauty pageant/dance competition. Pamper Parlour Mums, also one-hour, is produced by Touch Productions. The special features parents who believe in pampering their children to the extreme. Both shows were commissioned in the U.K. for Sky Living’s Pushy Parents strand.

The 5×1-hour series Killer Roads, from Reef Television, focuses on the U.K.’s most dangerous roads. The 3×1-hour series Britain’s Hidden Heritage is a look at extraordinary buildings and landmark treasures. Both titles were originally commissioned in the U.K. for BBC One.

The hour-long Extraordinary Stormchasers, commissioned for BBC Three, is the story of a girl battling a debilitating illness while she fulfills her passion for storm chasing. Facebook Killer (working title), is a one-hour special commissioned in the U.K. for the Crime and Investigation Channel. It focuses on the dangers of social networking.

The 3×1-hour series Submarine Patrol from Firefight Productions provides insight into the world of the submarine. It was originally commissioned in the U.K. for Channel 5 and National Geographic Channel.
