Parthenon Clinches Raft of Kids' Sales

LONDON, December 8:
Parthenon Kids has closed a number of new deals, including RTV Slovenia picking
up a package of titles from S4C International.

Hana's Helpline has been scooped up by Synapse in Brazil, Hakka TV in Thailand and RTV
Slovenia. RTV Slovenia also took on s4C International fare such as Bibi Ball, Little Engine that Could, Santa's
First Christmas
, Sali Mali and Star Hill Ponies.

Billy,
from Little Entertainment Company, sold to SVT Sweden and RTV Slovenia. Jakers!, which has already sold in more
than 60 territories worldwide, has been re-licensed to SVT Sweden, S4C in
Whales, RTE Ireland and France's TF1. Also for Jakers!, a DVD distribution agreement has been re-licensed by Svensk
Filmindustri (SF) throughout Scandinavia.

SF is also licensing the
DVD rights for the seasonal special from Brave New World Films titled A Child's Christmas, as well as Blue
Zoo-produced Those Scurvy Rascals.

Roman Mysteries sold to RTE in Ireland, while Piwi in France took on Penguin's First Christmas. Sun Media
Korea licensed the DVD rights for a range of S4C International programs, and Al
Jazeera picked up Bibi Ball, Animated Tales of the World and Animal Crackers.

Marie Chappelow,
Parthenon's commercial director for children's brands, said, "Our existing
portfolio is already very successful—we have some beautiful evergreen
programs such as Jakers! and A Child's Christmas and I am very
pleased with the amount of positive activity that has taken place recently.
With a slew of agreements in negotiation I am confident that we will see a
significant, yet selective expansion of our catalogue into the new year."
