Paramount Worldwide TV Licensing & Distribution Bolsters Sales Teams

HOLLYWOOD: Paramount Worldwide Television Licensing & Distribution (PWTLD) has hired a pair of regional sales execs while also promoting Christopher Safford for the Asia Pacific and sub-Saharan Africa territories.

Jonathan Greenberg, the senior VP of TV licensing for the Asia Pacific and sub-Saharan Africa, will now manage June Choi, the new Seoul-based executive director of regional sales for North Asia, and Manju Nair, the new Mumbai-based regional sales director for South Asia.

Safford has been elevated to executive director of regional sales for Southeast Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. He has relocated to Singapore for the new position. Carolyn Johnston, the senior manager of regional sales, is now overseeing Australia and New Zealand and is working out of Sydney.

"The growth of our division is a reflection of the expanding opportunities in the global marketplace and the increasing amount of content that we have to offer, including the studio's growing television production," said Amy Reinhard, the president of Paramount Worldwide Television and Home Media Acquisitions.
