Paramount, Coolroom in Digital Content Deal

LONDON, May 16: Paramount
Digital Entertainment has struck an agreement to make a selection of new
releases from Paramount Pictures available for purchase in the U.K. and Ireland
through the digital entertainment store Coolroom.

Paramount Pictures titles
such as Stardust, Shooter, Zoolander, The Untouchables and
Star Trek will be offered on both
Coolroom’s download store at www.coolroom.com
and its IPTV channel on Microsoft Media Center. Content will be available to
own from £3.99.

Consumers with Windows
Vista and XP PCs can access Coolroom on Media Center. Coolroom is also
providing consumers the option of pre-ordering select titles for purchase that
will then automatically download beginning at midnight on the day of the
digital release.
