Paprika Latino International Sets Management Board in Place

BUDAPEST: A new management board has been appointed for the CEE-based production company Paprika Latino International, with Peter Marschall remaining as CEO.

Bence Trunko is to serve as creative director, while Kristof Dombovary is the new productions director. Oana Prata has been named operations director for Bulgaria and Romania, with Dr. Bela Nadas as operations and legal director and Andras Szabo as operations and finance director. Trunko will be directly responsible with client service and content related issues in Slovenia, Serbia, Hungary and other new territories. Dombovary takes over the same responsibilities for Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Austria and possible new countries. Prata will be directly responsible with managing operations in Bulgaria and Romania. Nadas will be acting as operations manager for Slovakia and possible new countries, while Szabo is directly in charge of operations in Slovenia, Serbia and Hungary.

Marschall will be focusing more of his time on Paprika Latino International’s newest venture, Pura Vida Paprika, which is based in Costa Rica. The new venture consists in developing a production hub and open-air studio in Costa Rica, for reality and game shows shot on an exotic location. Pura Vida Paprika is fully functional with planned shooting starting for the first show in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Paprika has started producing various formats in two new countries this year, with this reaching a total of seven countries where it had or currently has running productions. Another newly set milestone comes with producing three shows in Bulgaria for fall season 2011, including The X-Factor. The company produces, among other titles, Wife Swap, Beat the Blondes, Farmer Wants Wife and Supernanny for various broadcasters in the CEE region.
