Palladia Highlights Live Music Performances for Fall

NEW YORK: MTV Networks’ HD music channel Palladia has a new lineup of live performance premieres for fall, including the return of the annual Outdoor Music Week.

Outdoor Music Week kicks off August 30 through September 6 with live performances from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Shakira, Snoop Dogg, Pearl Jam, Paul McCartney and Elvis Costello, among others. All the performances had been taped outdoors.

On August 30, World Stage: The Killers airs at 9 p.m. The following day features Flogging Molly live at the Greek Theater at 9 p.m. World Stage: Mika airs September 1, with Glastonbury 2010 on September 3. BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2010 is on September 4, followed by Hard Rock Calling 2010 and Hurricane Festival 2010 on September 5 and 6, respectively.

The channel also has a range of other HD music programming slated for the fall. Every Saturday night from September through December, viewers can view musical and events and performances with Saturday Night Premieres. Palladia’s Salute to the MTV Music Awards airs September 12. Hispanic Heritage Evening is on October 3. Palladia World Tour Weekend 2010 is airing in November, with a two-day run. Divas Weekend kicks off December 3.

Best of 2010, featuring all the shows that premiered on Palladia in 2010, launches the last week of the year, from December 26 to 31. For the second year in a row, palladia is teaming up with Vizio for Epic. Awesome. Artists, for a debut mid-August. As part of the partnership, the brands will create four 60-second custom co-branded vignettes that will each feature a different artist.
